As he awoke, Ridge opened his eyes only a sliver. Within seconds that sliver grew as his eyelids parted fully, and as his blurry vision slowly came into focus he tried his best to take in what he could his surroundings. From what he could tell most everything glinted a metallic gray, namely some curious instruments processing what appeared to be a blue-violet liquid substance. He shifted his field of vision to his right side and, with effort, turned his head to see a Magikoopa garbed in orange robes; the gray hems of his hat and sleeves were embroidered with bright green triangles.
